exceptional results and dedication to customer service. Our dynamic team spans four locations across Yorkshire and includes
personable, expert valuers across 26 departments. With over 150 regular and specialist
auctions annually, we are proud to be among the UK's fastest-growing auction houses.
Founded in 1996 by David and Jane Duggleby, the company began as a modest operation
managed solely by the couple. It has since evolved into a formidable team with multiple
locations across Yorkshire.
The heart of the operation is based in Scarborough, with the Head Office and Salerooms
located on Vine Street. Recognising the growing need to enhance our accessibility and reach,
we established a valuation office in Beverley's Wednesday Market in 2018. This addition was
quickly followed by a collaboration with Stephensons, resulting in the inception of Duggleby
Stephenson of York, further extending our footprint in the auctions world. In 2023, our
growth continued with the launch of a second valuation office located in the town centre of
Harrogate and, as business continues to grow, we look to new locations to bring our services
closer to people across the region and beyond.
As business ventures expanded, we established The Duggleby Group.The group now
manages and operates seven successful entities across auctions, valuations, removals, and
storage. Our removals and storage businesses provide a strong foundation for our Auction
Logistics service, providing national collection and delivery for items of any size.
